1971 Fender Stratocaster
Sunburst
Art.Nr. Vi71FeStr3tSB322861
Clean 1971 Stratocaster in Sunburst finish – one of the best sounding late 60s/early 70s Strats we’ve had so far! A beautiful example of one of the last Strats with the 4-bolt neck and 60s-style steel block tremolo with “Pat.Nr-stamped” steel saddles. The guitar is really clean and in excellent condition – besides a professional fret-job and a new tremolo it’s all original. It looks like there was another pickguard installed at some point since there are holes right next to (only!) the three upper pickguard screw holes and the bridge pickup cutout is slightly enlarged on the corners – not big deal at all but we want to mention everything. The 3x original “grey-bottom” pickups with staggered pole-pieces have great balanced outputs and give you that typical beefy rock sound the Strats of this era are known for! Doesn’t have to hide behind any pre-CBS model for sure. Comes in mid 70s Fender tolex case.
