Super rare 1965 Telecaster in custom color Candy Apple Red and maple cap neck! Both features alone would make it a rare guitar, first of all there are not many 1965 Telecasters and even less in a custom color – but with the maple cap neck (separate laminated maple fretboard without the skunk stripe) it becomes really rare. This is a wonderful example with a big round neck profile. Its all original besides a refret and touched solder joint. The neck is dated August 1965 – very very early maple cap version, the bridge pickup is dated 12-22-65. That neck feels so nice, its a very special guitar! It once had an accident so there are two dents on each body side of the back – not visible from the front and a small repair on the neck thats it. Comes incl. original case.
