A pre-CBS Strat that has it all… the look, the feel and the tone. Basically a 1963 Strat – the neck is dated January 1964 and it still has the “old” pre 1964 Sunburst finish without the yellow stain. Its been played a LOT. Look at all that authentic wear…it can’t get any better than this. Of course still the Spagetti logo, nice full neck profile with worn off finish and three block bottom single coils. As you would guess this guitar had some changed parts due to heavy usage: all pots have been replaced in the late 70s and the worm route has been a bit enlarged. There may have been a different pickguard at some point since there is one additional hole but the original green guard is installed and its definitely well worn just like the rest of the guitar. Thats it – everything else is original – even the three way switch. If you are willing to give it a new home as the new caretaker and you are looking for a lifetime companion, a Strat that has witnessed rock and roll history – there you go! Its something we don’t have every day and definitely a special guitar! Comes incl. original case.
