1962 Fender Stratocaster
Sunburst …near mint
Art.Nr. Vi62FeStr3tSB84694
Near mint 1962 Fender Stratocaster in Sunburst and all original. Incredibly clean and shiny this is one of the last Strats Fender build with the famous “Slabboard”. It’s a time-machine guitar with only a very few dings and dongs and a small spot of chipped lacquer on the neck – besides that it looks like a new guitar you would have bought in a local shop in 1962. this one has it all – as a pre-CBS model it has the old Spagetti-logo, the “Green Guard” and the thick “Slabboard” fingerboard with clay dot inlays. The neck is stamped 2JUN62B, in July 1962 you already see some guitars with curved fingerboards. All three pickups are “black bottoms” and have outputs of 6,11K(N)/5,67K(M)/5,47(B). The electronic is original and has untouched solder joints, the pot codes read 137.62.18. With a comfortable med-sized neck and a weight of 3,38kg, this Strat is very comfortable to play and sounds amazing! Perfect collector’s item and investment – you never find them that clean. Comes in its orig. brown Fender tolex case w/orange interior and original owners manual.
