Early 1957 Fender Stratocaster in Sunburst in rare Hardtail version and in excellent condition. Besides a small professionally filled additional screwhole in the pickguard/body it’s all original and has untouched solderjoints! The body is dated to 12-56 and the neck to 1-57 so it still has that big chunky 56-style V neck that feels absolutely great and it simply sounds amazing! It’s got that typical “Hardtail twang” and great resonance. No wonder it has a lightweight alder body with strong finish left. The guitar has some minor playwear mostly on the backside of the body and on the fretboard, as well as the usual weatherchecking. The three original single-coil pickups are well balanced with outputs. All original including the original CRL 3-way switch. Killer Hardtail, actually this is as good as it gets. An outstanding guitar! Incl. original Fender tweed case.
