From the second owner: late 1972 Fender Jazz Bass in Olympic White finish with rare maple fingerboard and black binding/block inlays. What a great combination! The bass is all original and in excellent condition – besides a small Asterix/Troubadix sticker on the front. The bass comes with the original sales invoice from February 1973 and a service invoice for the only service it had: In 1982 it received a fresh set of strings and a setup. Those flatwound strings were still on when we bought it – after 44 years!. Everything is untouched, the neck pickup still has the formvar wire and is sated to 1971, the bridge pickup already the plain enamel wire and dated to 1972. The neck is straight. Wonderful bass – Olympic White was still a custom color in 1972. Comes incl. bridge cover and pickup cover, original spiral cable, polish cloth and original case.
