This one’s a real player: Great sounding and playing 1971 Fender Jazz Bass in Sunburst with heavy, honest wear and loads of character. The finish is strongly played in, including wear on the lower neck. There are visible soldering traces at the pots and filled holes from other bridges underneath the original bridge. Our additional inspection also shows a 1970-dated bridge pickup and a 1972-dated neck pickup, so at least the neck pickup is not original to a 1971 bass. A cool, road-worn vintage Jazz Bass for someone who values tone, feel and history over full collector-grade originality.
