1969 Gibson SG Custom – Walnut

Nice 1969 Gibson SG Custom in Walnut finish in great condition. We purchased the guitar from the second owner from Portugal – the original owner was a friend of his father who bought it new in the US and brought it over to Europe. It’s been in the family circle ever since and was used quite a lot. It shows plenty of play wear of course. There are a few cracks in the pickguard – the original owner disconnected the middle pickup but now its back in place. One bridge saddle screw has been replaced with a custom made copy of the original screw, otherwise it’s original. However, it survived with no cracks! Three-piece neck, no volute, no “made in USA” stamp. Neck and bridge pickup never had the cover off, middle pickup cover was off once. The neck is big and round, typical for that year – a fat neck version. Guitar still has the original fretless wonder frets, we can do a fretjob per request. Comes in its original case with yellow plus.
