1967 Fender Telecaster
Olympic White

Art.Nr. FE67TELE206817

1967 Fender Telecaster we purchased from the second owner in Germany who had it since the 1970s! Rare custom color Olympic White (not Blond!) finished guitar with rosewood fingerboard – a very desired combination. Typical for this era, the Olympic White finish was sprayed over Black, which is pretty cool since you can see it shining through where the finish has chipped off. Of course all bone stock factory. When the former owner got it, there was some tape around the lower body edges to cover the dings and dongs and prevent the finish from getting further damage. This is why there is some “stripes” of non-yellowed clear coat in this area. Being a late 1967 is already has the black CBS Fender logo, F-tuners and the modern wiring but still the nitrocellulose finish. The bridge pickup is pencil dated October 1967, the neck date is September 1967. Really nice and collectible custom color Telecaster with a great weight. Guitar has been refretted by our luthier with 6015 frets. Comes incl. original case and ashtray/bridge cover.
