1966 Fender Stratocaster - 3-tone Sunburst

1966 Fender Stratocaster in 3-tone Sunburst with heavy play-wear. This instrument has been played a lot, so there it got some honest, visible playwear, furthermore it had different tuners at one time, but the original Kluson "double-line" tuners are back on. It also had a 5-way switch which has been reconverted to the original 3-way switch and the pickguard is from a 1969 Strat. The original ´66 guard is included, but has an aditional hole in it, the cavity of the bridge-PU is slightly deepened for a DiMarzio whis was installed once! The neck is stamped 13 SEP 66 B, the frets have been professionaly renewed and it's got a very good action. All CTS pots are dated 137.66.18 (18th week of 1966), the three strong "grey-bottom"PUs are well balanced with outputs of 5,72K,5,90K and 5,97K and are dated to 1966 on their baseplate. The neck has a medium size C-profile and is very comfortable to play. Comes in black tolex case.
