Clean 1965 Fender Stratocaster in Sunburst finish, all original and excellent condition. There is only some minor play wear, mostly on the sides and backside of the body, the original finish hasn’t faded at all and still has a nice vibrant Sunburst which those 1965 Strats are famous for. The original frets are still in great shape, it looks as this instrument has barely been played. The neck has a medium-C profile and it’s comfortable light weight with only 3,47Kg. Last year – actually last month for the desirable Pre-CBS small headstock, the neck stamp reads 2NOV65B. All original electronic, the orig. 3-way CRL switch has never been replaced, the three CTS pots are stamped 137.65.47, dating them to 47th week of 1965 and the three single coil pickups have strong and well balanced outputs of 6,01K(N), 6,20K(M) and 6,21K(B). Despite of the excellent condition and the fact that this guitar hasn’t been played much, it sounds extremely good! Great investment and great player!
