Super clean 1965 Fender Jaguar in rare custom color Firemist Gold. What a beauty! Late 1965 model, already with the binding but still dot inlays. All original guitar besides a tiny touch up on the back around the neck joint. Almost no visible wear, there is a typical imprint/finish reaction on the back of the upper horn but otherwise it’s in almost museum grade condition. Not much weather checking either – just on a few spots. There used to be a sticker on the guitar, but it didn’t leave any color difference in the finish. At most, in certain angles under direct light, you can see a slight unevenness in the clear coat — that’s all (its almost impossible to photograph)! In 1965 Firemist Gold replaced Shoreline Gold – so this is the first year of that color. Wonderful guitar in really outstanding condition! Comes incl. original case and bridge cover.
