Early 1961 Fender Hardtail Stratocaster in Sunburst finish in excellent condition and all original. The guitar has the desired thicker rosewood “slab board”! It has some play-wear and a few dings, especially on the back which gives it an extra protion of vibe and mojo. It has been professionally refretted with 6105 wire which makes it play like butter. It’s got a great feeling neck with a fuller medium profile, not as thin as the earlier 59/60 profiles. The Hardtails really work well with the slab rosewood boards since they add more “balls” and low end to that typical twangy Hardtail tone. The guitar is pretty lightweight with only 3,17kg. Great example of the slab board Pre-CBS era with great playability and monster tone! Comes in new case.
