The famous celebrity owned 00-Les Paul nicknamed “Batman” by it’s former owner because of the unique factory bridge plate. The guitar that has been recreated by the Gibson Custom Shop as “CC#3 The Babe” Collector’s Choice model. It’s a super early (actually late 59) 1960 model in the legendary double-O serial number range, means that it’s a full-on 1959 spec Burst with the desired color, a big round neck profile and a nicely mild figured top. The color is still so strong, the back hasn’t faded at all(!) and the top has also a lot of red in the Sunburst. It’s a factory equipped Bigsby guitar with that famous “Batman”-style bridge plate.
