1981 Gibson Les Paul Heritage 80 Standard
Cherry Sunburst

Art.Nr. GI81LPHS-81681593

What a stunner! Super clean 1981 Gibson Les Paul Heritage 80 – Gibsons first attempt of a 50s Les Paul reissue. The Heritage Series included a few models including the Les Paul Standard, Elite and the Korina models. This example is super clean with strong Cherry Sunburst finish and beautiful flametop. The guitar is all original except the neck position Tim Shaw pickup (dated 1981) has been rewound and the bridge pickup is has been wax potted – its actually a June 1980 dated double white pre-Tim Shaw version (the same they used in the KM Les Pauls). We don‘t know if came stock in the guitar since its period correct and the guitar is an early model – however, they sound great. There is some solder work in the cavity but all pots are dated 1981 and the rest of the guitar remains in original condition. Comes incl. its original case.
