1982 Gibson Heritage Series Flying V in rare Ebony finish. Made of Korina wood, those Heritage Series guitars are still sought after amongst player and collectors – even after Gibson released the recent reissues. They are known to be consistent good sounding instruments, maybe the best guitars Gibson released in the 80s. This is a super nice and lightweight example (just over 3Kg) in the more rare Ebony finish – an early one in that color with serial B002. It comes with the desired Tim Shaw humbuckers, both dated 1982. It’s in all original condition! There are two finish cracks around the neck heel – its NOT a heel crack, its the famous so-called “stress cracks” usually a nice wording for a crack but our luthier carefully inspected the guitar and there is no sign of any repair. All good guys! Killer guitar, nice 59ish neck shape! Comes incl. its original case.
