1960 Gibson Les Paul Special
Cherry

Art.Nr. Vi60GiLpSpcl08437

1960 Les Paul Special double cutaway in Cherry finish. The guitar had Grovers installed at some point but the original tuners are back on. There are some changed parts, such as the pot knobs and switch tip and the pots have been changed to a little later ones from 1962. The finish has faded to a brownish red but overall the lacquer is super clean with no weather checking ad only minor play wear, especially on the back. There is a small overpainted spot inside the upper horn – we think that there once was a relocated strap button but otherwise there are no cracks, repairs or other damages, the two original P-90 “Soap-bar” pickups have strong and well balanced outputs of N=8,37k and B=9,38K. Amazing sounding guitar, screams like an animal! Comes in brown 80s Gibson Heritage case.
