1959 Fender Stratocaster
Blond
Art.Nr. FE59STRATBLD41944
What a guitar! Amazing and rare 1959 Fender Hardtail Stratocaster in Blond finish in excellent condition. One the very first Stratocasters with Rosewood fretboard and Greenguard since it still has the 50s body with the 54-59 “White-guard routing” but it already has a Greenguard with only 9 screw holes instead of 11. It’s got a lightweight ash body and beautifully worn blond finish. It’s been played and loved for sure! The typical thinner 1959 profile maple neck has some nice birdeye figuring and an early slabboard. Besides a refret with 6105 wire its all original. This guitar is so resonant and has such a great twang and a dry midrange ash-growl.. it’s a desert island guitar. Body is still dated to 1958 – which is normal on most Blond Strats. Being a 1959 model it of course has no neck date. This is a true collector’s item and a piece of history! Comes incl. original brown case.
