Fantastic 1958 Fender Precision Bass in original 3-tone Sunburst with the gold anodized pickguard – the first year of the classic three-color P-Bass look. Neck and body both date to November 1958 and the bass is a very comfortable 3.8 kg. It retains its original hardware, electronics and case.The bass is the cleanest we’ve had, really outstanding! The walnut skunk stripe has shrunk enough to be clearly felt along the back of the neck – our luthier fixed it and now it feels smooth. No finish work was required. An amazing late-50s Precision, the second year of the original design, a mile stone and an even more important piece of American music history than any electric guitar! Comes incl. both original bridge/pickup covers and original Tweed case.
