Exceptionally beautiful 1946/1947 Gibson ES-300N in excellent+/near mint condition. The 17″ body ES-300 with P-90 neck pickup was introduced in 1946 and this one still has the pre-war script logo which Gibson stopped using within 1947. The guitar has no FON number but with the old style logo it’s clear that it’s been made before end of 1947. The guitar has an amazing figured maple body with beautiful blond/natural finish, great pronounced carving and only very minor wear – actually some very small dings on the back of the neck. It sounds as good as it looks – just a wonderful piece of Gibson craftsmanship. Comes in it’s original brown Geib case.
