Finally! The Gibson Custom Shop is making the 330 again…and how great it turned out! The team around Mat Koehler is known for re-creating specific guitars with a crazy attention to detail, they won’t release it until it’s as accurate as possible. This 330 could easily stand up against the vintage originals – we had tons of them so we know! Introduced in 1959 as the successor or the ES-225, the ES-330 is a fully hollow body guitar with 14th fret-to-body construction. Resonsant and wonderful sounding even unplugged. Super nicely built, lightweight, typical 1962 appointments – block inlays, short pickguard and slim taper neck. Amazing guitar! The original guitars with the wide neck are going for double the price so this is a great alternative.
