The original 1956 Les Paul Goldtop with the ABR/Stoptail/P90 layout already easily reached the 70K price tag… which not many would consider affordable anymore. This brand new masterpiece from the Gibson Custom Shop is as close as you can get to a vintage original. The reissues have been carefully updated during the last 20 years and the current models really nail it. The Ultra Light Aged version in the first step into the Murphy Lab and it’s the perfect tool if you’d rather “age” the guitar by yourself. The super hard finish leaves you all the work to make it your own personal worn guitar since it’s only mildly checked and not artificially aged looking. Comes incl. original case and COA. Weight: 3,75Kg. By the way: Eric Johnson himself played this guitar and liked it very much!
