The first two guitars of our own “Inspired By GuitarPoint” series. We are celebrating some of our rarest vintage pieces that we found, purchased and sold during the years and make them available as Custom Shop reissues. One of the rarest guitars we’ve ever had was a factory original Natural finish with Gold hardware and stoptail 1961 Les Paul SG. It combined three features you would never expect to see on a 60s LP/SG so it was truly a unique instrument. We worked closely with the Custom Shop, they even did 4 finish samples to choose from and they really nailed it. We are super happy about the outcome. The original guitar was pretty worn, it was played for decades so we wanted a Murphy Lab Heavy Aging on the reissue. We are proud to present you this outstanding instrument which picks up the legacy of a real vintage gem and makes the look, tone and feel available for you!
