Porbably best Blackguard you can buy new from the Fender Custom Shop: Dale Wilson Masterbuilt. This is a 2025 model, pre-owned but only for a few days. Wonderful 59 Esquire neck shape, well by accident we have vintage 59 Esquire in the shop and its spot on. Not as huge as those Custom Shop 50s Telly necks are, rather moderate and “growing” i. depth towards the body – just like 59 necks are. Twisted Tele neck and OBG in bridge position. Merle Haggard 4 Way Switch for additional serial wiring of both pickups. That aging, that feel and the tone…this is as good as it gets!
