Only 50 made especially for the Japanese market with hand selected maple tops! This is a 2013 Gibson Les Paul 1959 20th Anniversary Murphy Burst “Japan Edition” in excellent condition. The guitar comes from a collector but it has been played here and there and only has some very minor belt buckle wear on the back. The wood for the 20th Anniversary Murphy Burst have been carefully hand selected by Edwin Wilson and Tom Murphy and Tom Murphy himself painted them – it’s a homage to the first 25 Murphy painted 1959 historic reissues Gibson did in 1993. Wonderful Les Paul, super light and resonant! The guitar comes with dust cover, gloves, special COA, special “hand select” card and original case. The case is hand signed by Tom Murphy and the late Edwin Wilson! Weight: 3800g
