This 1958 Les Paul Reissue was created to replicate the guitar featured in the book "Beauty of the Burst" (the original can be seen on page 30 in that Book). The guitar received a handpicked figured maple top and was color-matched to the guitar on Page 30 of The Beauty of the Burst. This Les Paul came from a private collection and is all original and in excellent+ condition, the orig. frets are still in perfect shape. The neck-profil seems to be a bit bigger than on most newer reissues, chunky but comfortable to play. The sound is absolutely great, comes closer to that wooden, creamy tone we all love as some of the newer CC´s! With a weight of only 3,87Kg, this beauty is a real lightweight (no chambering or weight-relief holes)! Comes in its original black hardshell case with all case-candys, hangtags, COA, etc.
