1988 Gibson Les Paul Standard - Cherry Sunburst incl. orig. Gibson Protector case
Super clean 1988 Gibson Les Paul Standard in Cherry Sunburst in excellent condition for its over 31(!) years. There is only minor playwear, the orig. frets are still in perfect shape. The previous owner modified this guitar similar to Slashs 1987 Les Paul which was his main axe for many years, both Pickups have been changed to Seymour Duncan Alnico 2 Pro humbuckers, all 4 pots have been upgraded to a set of matched pots, the caps are some "Boutique" bumble-bee caps, which have been perfectly matched and sound great in this guitar. A very well built Les Paul with 1-piece mahogany body / 3-piece maple top and a 1-piece mahogony neck (just like Slashs ´87 Les Paul!). The neck has a medium sized C-shape - big, but not chunky. Not heavy, nice and comfortable to play and a great sounding Instrument. Comes in black Gibson protector case with blue lining.
