1980 Gibson SG Standard – White

Eraly 1980 Gibson SG Standard in exc+ condition. Built in late 1979 and serialized on the 9th day of 1980 it’s one of the earlier models that have the desired wider nut width again! The guitar barely shows any wear, just a few dings and dongs here and there. The finish looks like it yellowed but it’s actually the original cream white finish – it’s even a bit more yellowish under the pickguard. The guitar is all original and has a factory original clear epoxy back humbucker in the neck (dated Sep 7 1979) and an original tarback in the bridge position which nice compensated outputs. Great sounding and resonant guitar with killer looks! Comes incl. original chainsaw case.
