1980 Gibson Les Paul KM Kalamazoo Model – Natural

1980 Gibsons Les Paul “KM” Standard in Natural finish, featuring the legendary “double-white” T-top pickups” Compared to a regular Les Paul Standard model from that time, the KM (Kalamazoo)-model features a 1-piece mahogany-body with 2-piece book-matched maple top. It’s kind of a step towards what later became the Heritage Series if you want – all guitars have been made in the original Kalamazoo factory in Michigan. Clean example, heavy belt buckle wear on the back but almost no wear on top. The pots have been replaced in the 90s, the stoptail is a lightweight aluminum – we kept it that way since it’s definitely an improvement and a heavy one is easy to find! Great sounding guitar with great output. A real rocker! Comes incl. its original protector case.
