1980 Gibson Les Paul Custom – Silverburst (Adam Jones!)

Super clean and all original early 1980 Gibson Les Paul Custom in the sought after Silverburst finish. The clear coat yellowed over the last 45 years and make the Silver looks kind of Gold. Serial dates to the January 14 1980, pots and pickups are obviously still dated 1979 – which make it an Adam Jones spec Custom! Three piece maple neck and one-piece mahogany body with maple top. The Silverburst finish got very popular because of the Tool guitarist and his Custom Shop signature model – a reissue of a 1979 LP Custom Silverburst – is selling for well over 10K…this is the original and its less… so you should grab it! Great sounding guitar, very focussed with hot patent stamped Gibson pickups! All original, nothing has ever been touched. A few dings and dongs but overall in excellent/exc+ condition. Comes incl. original protector case.
