Straight from the former owner in Greece: The Gibson Les Paul 25/50 Anniversary models are amongst the coolest guitars Gibson did in the late 70s. Great attention to detail, very nice looking wood and finishes… the top-of-the-line of this era. This run was made to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Les Paul model and 50 years of Les Pauls career. The mix of chrome and gold parts symbolizes the silver/gold anniversary – pretty cool. The guitar has a factory TP6 tailpiece and coil-split. This is the Black one, no flames or Sunburst here – it’s got that classic Ebony Les Paul Custom look! The pickguard is missing and the TP6 low e-string adjustment screw comes from another TP6 but other than that it is completely original with two original “Tarback” humbuckers and original electronics with untouched solder. Some play wear, belt buckle wear at the back but not all the way through the finish. Nice vibe with the yellowed clear coat! Comes incl. original case.
