Clean and lightweight 1980 Fender Precision Bass in rare Antigua finish! Typical for late 70s/early 80s fender used left over parts: the neck is dated S8 (would be seventy eight but also common up until 1981), pots are dated 1979 but the pickup is dated 1980 (one coil has been rewound by Kloppmann). The fingerboard was stripped during refret. The neck feels so comfortable, round and full but not wide at all – very comfortable also with smaller hands. Nicely balanced and great lightweight with under 4Kg – in this period they can weigh like 5kg. Really good sounding bass, great low e-string, resonant all the way through. One of the best P-Basses from that era we’ve had. Comes incl. new Fender Custom Shop case.
