Nice 1974 Telecaster Custom in natural finish. The guitar definitely has been finished in Blond before and still shows the Blond finish in the cavities. Since Natural colored guitars even have a “Natural” stamp in the neck pickup cavity it definitely has been stripped and refinished with clear coat. Interestingly the solder appears to be original and the shielding foil looks 100% factory – which could lead to the conclusion that the guitar was finished like this in the Fender factory. We’ve seen color over color and also stripped and refinished guitars in the 70s. The finish is definitely old. However, there is no clear evidence so we priced it accordingly. All parts are original, the 6 saddle bridge was introduced with the exact model in 1974. Pots and pickups are original too. Great guitar! Comes in Custom Shop case.
