1973 Gibson Les Paul Standard – Natural

Rare Early 1970s Les Paul Standard in Natural Finish with Center-Seam Two-Piece Top!
This guitar is exceptionally clean and looks absolutely stunning! It’s an original custom order/pre-production Standard featuring pre-1975 specs—mahogany neck, ABR-1 bridge, and lightweight aluminum stop tailpiece. The pickups are T-Tops (the covers have been removed at some point), and it sports the correct white M8 pickup rings, ABR-1 with brass saddles, and a ‘59-style reproduction pickguard. It was at one time fitted with Grover tuners, but the original Kluson “Gibson Deluxe” tuners have been reinstalled. Aside from that, it’s all original. The electronic cavity is factory-stamped “Natural.” Unlike many from this period—which are often converted Deluxes—this is a real Standard, and a rare one at that. It sounds as good as it looks—an incredible example from a unique era in Gibson’s history. Includes original case.
