1972 Ovation Breadwinner 1251 - Natural

1972 Ovation Breadwinner 1251 - Natural incl. orig. Hardshell case

The Breadwinner was launched by Ovation in 1972. This instrument has been heavily modified by its previous owner and has plenty of play-wear, but its a hell-of-a-player!! This is a very early version with low serialnumber of 592(!), the neckplate and backplate are still made of flat metal instead of the diecast plates they used on later models. The two pickups have been swapped for two Gibson "Tony Iommi" humbuckers which sound great in that axe! The playability of the neck is very comfortable. Completely "MADE IN USA" and comes in its original Ovation hardshell case which is in rather poor condition, but all latches and hinges work.
