1972 Gibson Les Paul Standard 58
Goldtop
Art.Nr. Vi72GiLP58GTRi683927
One of Gibsons early attempts for a 50s LP Reissue, called “Standard 58” it was actually a reissue of a 1954 Les Paul. All original and in great condition with tons of mojo, just perfect in our opinion… even the shade of a removed Bugs Bunny looks just super cool. Of course it has a pro refret. They did everything right on this one: chunky 1-piece neck, 1-piece mahogany body with thin binding in cutaway, small 50s-style headstock, aluminum lightweight tailpiece. The bridge P-90 measures 8,45K, the neck pickup reads 7,97K. In our opinion comparable to original 50s LPs! Only a few where made, 25 in 1971 and 1046 in 1972. This already is the next hunted collectable Les Paul model, but it’s still affordable compared to what happened to 1968 and also 1969 Goldtops! Incl. it´s orig. black Gibson case with pink interior.
