1970 Fender Stratocaster - Sunburst
Super cool early 1970 Fender Stratocaster in Sunburst! The guitar is all original and in very good condition and has this certain vintage look and feel that you're looking for! It's been played and has some cool weatherchecking which gives it a great vintage vibe! The guitar has been professionally refretted with 6105 frets and sounds very resonant. It's one of the last Stratocaster models with 60s-style steel block-tremolo, 4-bolt neckplate and "Pat.Nr-stamped" steel saddles. The 3x original "grey-bottom" pickups with staggered pole-pieces are well balanced with outputs of 5,74K / 5,74K / 5,79. Original electronic, CRL 3-way switch, all 3 "grey-bottom" pickups are dated 1970 on their base-plate, the 3 CTS pots are stamped 137.70.02 (14 and 21) (= 2nd Week of 1970 etc.) and the neckdate has the typical 1970 "008" code. It also has the typical 1969 pickguard which is pearloid on the back. The 6 original F-style tuners have never been changed, work precise and stay in tune. Comes in its orig. black Fender tolex case with orange interior.
