1969 Gibson SG Standard – Cherry

1969 Gibson SG Standard in Cherry finish. The guitar is all original, except for a neck heel repair, new bridge saddles (no nylon) and replacement tremolo arm. The repair is over 25 years old, it has only been glued – not oversprayed, so the original finih is still there. The repair is stable and is a typical “feature” on many SGs, it’s the weak point in their construction. beides the repair there is some minor play wear, the guitar looks super nice! It’s got a three piece neck but no volute or “Made in USA” on back of headstock. We haven’t had a late 60s SG in a long time and the heel repair makes this one more affordable – thats the AC/DC tone right here!” Comes in its original black Gibson hardshell case with era correct “peace” sticker!
