Nice early 1960 Fender Stratocaster in great condition. In mid 1959 Fender released the first Stratocaster with the rosewood fretboard – a milestone. This example has a February 1960 body date and late 1959 pot codes and of course still the phone book capacitor. The pickups are also the 50 specs north pole on top versions. The guitar has a very old partial overspray around the arm rest area and it appears that it was lying on a spiral cable inside the case for a while which left the typical reaction on the finish. Both e-string tuners once have been replaced with F-tuners leaving filled screw holes but no widened tuner holes. Other than that it’s in original condition! Great slab rosewood board neck still with the original frets. Comes incl. its original brown tolex case.
