Early 1969 Telecaster in blond finish and in all original and excellent condition. The blond finish has yellowed a lot and there is a nice tan-line when you take off the pickguard and see the original white bond see-through finish. This gives it a nice vintage vibe and character. The neck is the desired maple-cap neck with a great round profile! This wonderful Telecaster was made right in between 1968 and 1969 – it might have been offered as 68 it’s whole life. The serial number is full-on 1968, the neck date is December 1968 and the pots are typically darted 1966 anyway. Many dealer miss to look at the bridge pickup date code under the metal plate – and this Telecaster has a 1969 pickup which makes it a – very early – 1969 model.
