1968 Gibson Les Paul Standard
Goldtop

Art.Nr. Vi68GiLpStd528952

Clean 1968 Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop in excellent condition. We got this guitar from it’s first owner who bought it in 1971 in Sweden. This is the real deal, a true 1968 model with correct cavity shape, small headstock and a that wonderful big neck. The first re-introduction of the Les Paul after around 7 years absence, a reissue of the 55-57 version with P90 and stoptail/ABR configuration. This super nice example is really a clean one, all original besides the pickups have been wax potted and the bridge is period correct but doesn’t have the nylon saddles (actually an improvement). There are some dings and dongs and some very mild weather checking and the original lightweight stoptail shows the typical flaked surface but overall it’s really clean. Highly collectible guitar, great player – it really reminds you of a 50s one, those 68 models are killer guitars with huge tone. Comes incl. it’s original Gibson case.
