1968 Fender Thinline Telecaster
Natural
Art.Nr. Vi68FeTeleThin242178
First year! Clean 1968 Fender Thinline Telecaster in Natural finish with beautiful ash body. The guitar is all original and in excellent condition – besides one former owner shaved a small part of the area where the forearm hits the guitar. The guitar blacklights 100% so it must be long ago and actually feels really good since the hard edge feels a bit smoother while playing. The neck date is 3MAY68B which makes it one of the first Thinline models ever produced(!) and both pots are dated to 1966. There is only some minor play-wear – the guitar is pretty clean. This is the first series of the Fender Telecaster Thinline and it has the famous maple-cap neck without the stripe on the back. Very lightweight with only 2,95 Kg, very resonant and great sounding example. The neck has a very comfortable medium-size C-shape and feels great. Comes in its original black fender Tolex case with orange interior.
