1968 Fender Jazzmaster - Sunburst ...rare maple cap neck!

Super super rare 1968 Fender Jazzmaster with maple cap neck and black binding/block inlays! This is a rare bird for sure - there are not many maple fretboard around at all and if they're mostly one-piece maple necks and from the 70s. The neck of this beauty has a maple fretboard (maple cap) and black binding with black block inlays. It is dated 13JAN68B and the original grey bottom pickups are dated to December 1966 - so basically it started production in 1967. There is also a red "sales" written on the back of the neck heel which very likely identifies it as a sales promotion model. The guitar is completely finished with nitrocellulose finish, all original and in excellent condition. There is some belt buckle wear on the back and some minor wear on the fretboard but overall the lacquer is almost completely intact. Besides it's being a very unique model it also sounds and plays really well! Comes incl. original bridge cover and original case.
