1966 Fender Stratocaster - Sunburst

Very early 1966 Fender Stratocaster in excellent condition. Besides an added 5-way switch it's all original (the original 3-way switch comes in the case). The guitar only shows minor playwear and has a beautiful strong Sunburst color. The neck has that typical asymmetrical 66 shape which is a little chunkier on the lower frets and slimmer up around the 12th fret. The neck has been refretted and dated 13JAN66B. It's lightweight with only 3,39Kg, the original grey bottom single coil pickups read 5,94K(N), 5,90K(M) and 6,07K(B) and the pot codes are 137.65.43 (43th week of 1965). Big headstock with transitional logo, very likely they started building it in 1965 and finished in 1966. Great sounding sounding example of a model that many collector's consider as their best sounding guitars... even if they own much higher prized models. Comes including original case and some case candy.
