1966 Fender Stratocaster – Black
Clean 1966 Fender Stratocaster in super rare custom color Black all original and in very good condition. The first year for the Stratocaster with the big CBS-headstock. It has some playwear, a couple of dings here and there. It's one of less than a hand full factory black custom color guitars we ever had and it looks really amazing. The neck is stamped 13 MAY 66 B, the electronics is all original with untouched solderjoints, all pots are stamped 137.66.35 (35th week of 1966). The three original "grey-bottom" PUs are well balanced with strong outputs and are dated 12-22-66, the orig. 3-way switch has never been changed and works fine, as well as the 6x Kluson "double-line" tuners. The neck has a medium size C-shape and is very comfortable to play. It's not only super-rare, it's also a great sounding guitar with all the tones you'd expect from a 60s Stratocaster! It comes along with a lot of 1966/1967 case candy, original strap and cable and even the original warranty card from it's first owner! Incl. orig. black Fender Tolex case with orange plush interior.
