1965 Fender Telecaster - Candy Apple Red (1964 Specs!)

Super cool early 1965 Fender Telecaster in custom color Candy Apple Red in great condition. The guitar comes from Scorpions guitarists Matthias Jabs collection and still has the 1964 specs like the desired "green guard", L-serial number, black bottom bridge pickup and spaghetti logo. It's all original besides a refret with jumbo frets and the "dark cap" has been removed for a modern and much more usable Telecaster switching. It's been played, there are the typical dings and dongs and belt buckle wear on the back. The thin and really beautiful looking Candy Apple Red finish is all original, no oversprays. Nice medium C neck profile with curve rosewood board, really good feeling neck. Great example of a pre-CBS spe custom color Tele with "that" tone and Muddy Waters vibe! Comes incl. original black tolex case.
