1965 Fender Stratocaster – Black

This is one of the coolest Strats we’ve had for sure. Could be a true prototype for over-aged Custom Shop models…this is the real thing folks! 100% pre-CBS specs, neck date is January 1965 but it still has clay-dots, pots are 64 and one pickup uis 12/31/64, the others are January 65. Such a killer guitar! The original green guard has a filled hole, the guitar has been through decades of rock’n’roll. Wear all over, you can see the yellow stain, white undercoat and original super rare Black custom color finish. here is a 5-way switch installed (of course) but otherwise it’s original. This is what we’re all looking for, a survivor, perfect wear, custom color…Comes in its orig. black Fender Tolex case with orange interior.
