1965 Burns "Double Six" - Green Sunburst (Made in UK)

1965 Burns "Double Six" - Green Sunburst incl. orig. Hardshell case

Rare 1965 Burns "Double Six" 12-string electric guitar in all original and excellent+++ condition. The Double Six is virtually a 12-string version of the Hank Marvin model with similar circuit and pickups. This guitar is propably most famous as Elvis Presley played this model in one of his movies in 1966. The "Double Six" had a reputation as the most user-friendly 12-string guitar, compared to Fender and Rickenbacker the "Double Six" had a rather wide nut-width of 47mm, which was much more comfortable to many players. The 3 original Tri-Sonic pickups have that typical crisp sound Burns guitars are known for, the original frets are in perfect condition, all electronic components are untouched and work fine. Comes in its original black Baldwin case with blue interior.
