Pretty cool 1964 Stratocaster in Sunburst in great condition. This guitar has/had an very old clear coat overspray on the neck – looks like somebody tried to prevent the guitar from being worn through but without success – the back of the neck already shows the bare wood almost entirely and has a great feel to it. 5 saddles have been replaced at some point and are newer reissues. One tuner is a later 64 double line version but even if it is not correct for this specific guitar it’s almost period correct. There are two October 64 dated Abigail Ybarra wound yellow ink stamped grey bottom pickups and one black bottom singlecoil in the neck position whxcih is common for this transitional period. Great sounding and playing guitar with some minor issues that are reflected in price. Comes incl. original case.
