1964 Fender Stratocaster - Fiesta Red w/Gold Hardware

What a guitar! Amazing clean all original 1964 Fender Stratocaster in Fiesta Red with Gold Hardware! The guitar comes from a major collection and has been in Europe for several decades - it's a true case queen that didn't see sunlight for many years. Not that a Fiesta Red finish in this condition would be enough - it has factory gold hardware which makes it truly unique. The finish barely shows any play wear, there are some marks form the case and there was a sticker attached on the upper horn which is only visible under UV-light - it's been polished off carefully. Even the gold hardware has been preserved over time which is very rare. The neck date is 2MAY64B, the pots read 137.64.22 and the original black bottom pickups are yellow ink dated MH JUL 24 64. The former owner had the backplate signed by no one else but Hank Marvin - make sense, right? It also include a matching serial number instruction manual, strap, polish and gold bridge cover. Perfect addition for every custom color collection! And if this wouldn’t be enough: this guitar is also included in the famous „Werner’s List“ - a pre-internet 1980s collectors documentation by James Werner. A copy of the page mentioning this serial number/model/color comes with the guitar. It comes incl. original white tolex Fender case.
